By the end of the course, students will be able to:
Understand & Express them selves in BSL sufficiently well to:
• To recognise and produce finger spelled names and places.
• Have a general understanding of basic signs.
• Be able to produce basic signs including numbers and family members.
• To produce and recognised familiar signs related to every day life and work.
• In face-to-face situations, acknowledge the other signer politely, using appropriate conventions.
• Take appropriate action on the basis of instructions and guidance received.
